Since 1990, Guiseppe “Joe” Misuraca and Karen Misuraca have exceeded expectations with Capri Pizza & Sub Express, a mom-and-pop shop that has thrived for 27 years.

“We’re a local mom-and-pop store serving New York-style Italian homemade food from scratch, and we’re famous for homemade bread and chicken Caesar salad,” Karen said, noting what sets Capri apart.

The family is inviting the community to join them for a 27th anniversary celebration on November 19. Attendees can enjoy free T-shirt and pen giveaways along with fresh Italian cookies, pastries and cannoli.

“Were just very grateful that people appreciate hard work and freshly made food that’s good for us,” Karen said. “Our customers are like our family. We call them Capristas. There’s no more mom-and-pop places left.”

Capri Pizza & Sub Express is located in the Southgate shopping plaza at 337 Hospital Drive in Glen Burnie. Sunday hours are 11:00am to 10:00pm. For more information, call 410-766-2525.
