Pasadena Sportfishing Group Meeting On November 13

Robert Christy, producer of Fish Nut Super Flash Mylar Lures, will be the guest speaker at Pasadena Sportfishing Group’s (PSG) monthly meeting on November 13. PSG meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at Earleigh Heights Volunteer Fire Company, located at 161 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park. Doors open at 6:00pm and the meeting starts at 7:30pm. Meetings are free and open to the public. Food and beverages are available and children will receive a free ice cream. A free drawing for a door prize will be awarded to adults and children. Fishing tackle raffle tickets and a 50/50 drawing will be held after Christy’s discussion, called “Fall Fishing Techniques for Striped Bass in the Chesapeake Bay.” During the presentation, which is about 45 to 60 minutes, Christy will field questions and comments from PSG members. Chesapeake Christian Center To Present Christmas Play

Are you ready for a dramatic musical comedy that will entertain the entire family? Joel Lindsey, Jeff Bumgardner and Heidi Petak have arranged a special production for Chesapeake Christian Center, “How To Have The Most Spectacular, Incredible, Wonderful, Astonishing, Dazzling, Magnificent Best Christmas Ever!” Catch one of three shows: Friday, December 8, at 7:00pm, or Saturday, December 9, at 1:00pm or 7:00pm. The Sturgeon Family Announces Dates For Last Public Train Display

For more than 20 years, John and June Sturgeon have welcomed visitors to marvel at their train display at their home, located at 836 Turf Valley Drive in Pasadena. This marks the last year that the display will be available for all to see. The display will be open from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on the following dates: November 24 and 25, and December 1, 2, 8, 9, 15-23, 26 and 27. Note that the display is not open on Christmas Eve or Christmas day. For more information, call 410-349-6627.
