Friday, September 1

Mach 3 At Mike’s Crab House North

Mike’s Crab House North

Mach 3 will host their inaugural performance at Mike’s Crab House North as listeners enjoy good food and enjoy the end of summer.

 

Rew Smith Performance

Cheeseburger in Paradise

8026 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena

7:00pm-11:00pm

Originally from the Eastern Shore of Maryland but now residing in the Baltimore-Washington area, Rew Smith has a soulful vocal style with a bit of a pop style. He has shared the stage with and opened for acts including Maroon 5, Owl City, My Chemical Romance, Toby Keith, Eric Hutchinson and more. He has also been a featured act for the Washington Redskins, Washington Nationals and the Citi Open.

 

Saturday, September 2

Adoption Event At Pet Valu

Pet Valu

4115 Mountain Road, Pasadena

Noon-2:00pm

Operation Paws for Homes will have many puppies available to look at during the adoption event. If you are interested in volunteering to hold leashes, pass out business cards or chat with the public about Operation Paws for Homes, email events@ophrescue.org. Devin Breithaupt is a guitarist and vocalist based out of Baltimore who has experience playing for a wide variety of audiences.

 

Parents’ Night Out

Parents can drop of their kids for a night of crafts, stories, music and play time. A dinner of pizza, fruit and juice will be provided. The cost will be $25 and $5 for each additional sibling.

Yard and Bake Sale

8:00am-2:00pm

Clothing, household goods, shoes, jewelry, baked goods, hot dogs and more will be available at this event.

 

All Weekend

“Dreamgirls” at Toby’s Dinner Theatre

5900 Symphony Woods Road, Columbia

Set in the 1960s, “Dreamgirls” follows an all-female, black singing group that learns the reality of show “business.” This groundbreaking musical features the classic hits “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going,” “I Am Changing” and “One Night Only.”
