Guests working their way around the hall at Kurtz’s Beach on the night of the Pasadena Business Association’s eighth annual Taste of Pasadena had the chance to sample their favorite dishes from nearly 15 area restaurants, caterers and markets. While they tried everything from pizza to crab cakes to ice cream, attendees socialized with their neighbors, local elected officials, fellow businesspeople and other community members. This year’s Taste of Pasadena included an interesting twist — a competition for the title of Best Presentation, which went to Mutiny Pirate Bar & Island Grille for its tiki-themed display.
