Each month, the Pasadena Voice poses a question to a local fifth-grade class. This month, students from Mrs. Biggs’ class at Pasadena Elementary School answered the question:

What is your favorite thing you learned this year and why?

 

My favorite thing I learned this year was how to report on topics on our JA BizTown field trip. It was fun.

My favorite thing I learned this year was how finances work. I was the CFO of the newspaper at JA BizTown, where I wrote checks, balanced the checkbook and worked with money.

My favorite thing I learned this year was how to play the flute. Now I can play amazing songs in Advanced Band.

My favorite thing I learned this year was that Mrs. Biggs is amazing! She is so kind and respectful to her students. She was amazing throughout the whole school year. I will never have a teacher just like her.

My favorite thing I learned this year was how to save people from drowning by throwing things to them to help them stay afloat. Drownproofing was a fun field trip.
