Each month, the Pasadena Voice poses a question to a local fifth-grade class. This month, while students are out for summer vacation, a Vacation Bible School group from Pasadena United Methodist Church answered the question:

If you could be any animal, what would it be?

I would be a horse because I could kick people off of me when I’m angry and flip them off my back.

Addison Bianco

I think I would be a trapdoor spider. They’re fascinating creatures and I like the way they build their homes.

Nick Coles

I would like to be an otter so I could swim in the water.

Cianna Dash

A tiger because it is cool and I like the way it hunts.

Alex Dong

I would be a cheetah because it’s fast and catches predators.

Eddison Hernandez

I would be a dolphin because they’re playful and smart.

Guiliana Fitzsimmons

A lion because lions are too smart and too fast.

Gianfranco Gonzalez

A mouse lemur because it can find food and it’s very cute.

Abby Hood

I would be a phoenix because once they grow old and die, they are reborn from their ashes.

Alyssa Lowe

An eagle because I could choose whatever I want to eat.

Arabella McCoy

I would be a chinchilla. Me and my entire family all like fluffy kinds of animals, so being a chinchilla would fit right in with our family.

Bryce Moyer

I would be a cheetah because they go really fast.

Ava Norris

A wolf because they are fast and no one would be able to kill me.

Austin Norris

I would choose an eagle because they are big and I would be able to fly.

Claire Plant

Otter because they’re cute and know how to defend themselves.

Alex Schneider

I would be a dog because dogs are really loyal and can be warm without clothes since they have fur.

Sam Schneider

I would be this animal that has antlers and a duck beak. It can fly and it has big teeth.

Thomas Stumpfoll

I’d be a wolf because they’re brave and work well together.
