The Northeast softball team jumped on Chesapeake early and didn’t let up on Wednesday, ousting their rivals from the playoffs with a 5-1 victory in the 3A East Section II final at Chesapeake.

The Eagles will travel to Glenelg on Friday at 4 p.m. for the 3A East final.
