CHS Class of 1979 To Hold 40-Year Reunion

The Chesapeake High School class of 1979 will celebrate its 40-year reunion with a casual affair on Saturday, September 14, from 12:30pm to 4:30pm at Kurtz’s Beach (2070 Kurtz Avenue). The cost is $55 and will include food from a menu featuring pit beef and ham, barbecue chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, chili, fried chicken, country beans, corn, assorted salads, fruit, watermelon, dessert, beer, soda and iced tea. Attendees can enjoy cornhole, volleyball and raffles.

To get a head start on the weekend, plan to attend the pre-reunion happy hour on September 13. The happy hour is complimentary for those attending the reunion, and it will be hosted at Doug Sisson’s tiki bar at 1234 Holmewood Drive in Pasadena at 7:00pm.
