Lake Shore 8U Raptors Win AYRA Baseball Bash

The Lake Shore 8U Raptors baseball team rallied from a pair of losses to win three straight games and claim the championship of the Atholton Youth Recreation Association All-Star Bash in early August.

After falling in their opening games, in both cases losing by one run, the Lake Shore team of Ryan Drosinos, Zach Turner, Maxx Geldmacher, Luke Reinhart, Rylan Bonitati, Frank Walter, Brayden Bean, Mason Sellers, Ryan Brown, Trey Thompson, Cooper Koreck and Bryce Thomas put together a streak. They avenged an extra-inning loss to the tournament’s No. 1 seed by winning 9-1 in the semifinal, and then defeated the Montgomery County Little League Lasers 5-3 in the championship.

The team is led by head coach Patrick Drosinos and assistant coaches Jeff McElroy, Joe Sellers and Paul Bean.
