Running, rock-wall climbing and fitness testing were all part of the 5K and Semper Fit Day, which was organized by the Northeast High School Marine Corps Junior ROTC program on April 13. Proceeds raised from the 5k will be donated to The Well, which supports women’s health; GiGi’s Playhouse, which helps children with Down syndrome; and a scholarship for a deserving high school senior who has overcome adversity during his or her high school years.
