Visioning Anne Arundel: Severna Park

Posted

Each meeting will focus on a specific area. The meeting for the Severna Park area will be held at Severna Park High School on June 10. All meetings will begin at 5:00pm with an open house that will continue throughout the evening. At 7:00pm, there will be a community discussion on:

  • What is special about your community?
  • What has changed in the last 15 years?
  • What needs improvement?
  • What should your community look like in 20 years?

Those who are unable to make the meetings in person can still make their voices heard regarding their wants and needs for the future of Anne Arundel County.

First, they can take the county’s online survey. A series of three online surveys for each “Visioning Anne Arundel” meeting will mirror the open house activities. Links will be posted on the county website as each survey is opened. Surveys will then remain open for three weeks following the date of the meeting (see web information in the final paragraph of this article.)

Second, residents can check out the recordings of the open comment session. The audience-style open comment session of each meeting will be recorded and uploaded to the Anne Arundel County YouTube channel. Links will be posted as they become available.

Finally, residents can review summaries of feedback received at each “Visioning Anne Arundel” meeting. Input received from participants at each meeting will be summarized and posted online.

To learn more, take the survey, listen to recordings or review feedback, visit www.aacounty.org/departments/planning-and-zoning and click “Help Shape the Future of Anne Arundel County.”
