Ballet Theatre of Maryland Issues Season Update

Posted

Dear Ballet Theatre of Maryland patron,

This week has been difficult for all of us and all of our communities.

As you know, BTM has always been motivated by a belief that the arts are critical to the health and wellbeing of the community. With that civic wellbeing in mind, we are suspending the remainder of our season until performance attendance would not put our audiences at risk.

If you have already purchased individual or subscription tickets to our April “Innovations” performances, we apologize that you will not be able to see the eclectic and innovative works that BTM is known for.

Details for the options for exchange with the Maryland Hall box office/guest services center:

1) After July 1, you will be able to exchange your tickets for one of our performances in the 2020-2021 season by calling 410-263-5544.

2) If you are willing to donate your ticket value to BTM, email info@marylandhall.org and you will receive a tax donation form from the Ballet Theatre of Maryland.

Contact the Maryland Hall guest services center with questions at info@marylandhall.org

Please check our website in the coming weeks for specifics as to what we have worked out and as to when, where, and how to go about this.

If you were planning on attending BTM's Nautical and Fabulous Fundraiser or our Artistic Director Dianna Cuatto's retirement send-off we will remain in touch with more information about when those events might be held.

Be safe, be healthy. We all look forward to when we can once again join together in celebrating dance, a language more powerful than words.
