CHS To Host “History and Reflections for the Apollo 11 50th Anniversary”

The Chesapeake High School Astronomy Club is sponsoring a talk to be given by astrophysicist Dr. James Lochner. He will present on “History and Reflections for the Apollo 11 50th Anniversary.” Lochner is formerly the education and public outreach lead for the Astrophysicist Division at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center while under contract with Universities Space Research Association. In that position, he led a team in developing and implementing formal education programs for NASA's Imagine the Universe! website and its associated curriculum support materials. Special projects included topics ranging from black holes to galaxies to the origin of the elements to the history of the universe.
