Cold No More: Northeast Interact Club Gives Coats To The Needy

Students from Northeast High School’s Interact Club – under the guidance of Tammy Littleton – facilitated Operation Cold No More and handed out more than 800 new and gently-used coats to members of the community in need on October 29. Club members worked hard over several weeks to organize and categorize the coats to make shopping easier for the families. Students were on hand to assist with the process and made sure that everyone left with a warm winter coat. The success of this event spiked from last year, when 500 coats were handed out.
