The Haunted Hill of North Shore

A free, family-run, haunted Halloween trail — The Haunted Hill of North Shore — is operating for five nights of fright: October 18, 19, 25, 26 and 31. The trail is located at 330 Edgewater Road in Pasadena. For information on times as they become available, find the Facebook page.

Finger Painting

Artist Katie Detrich will be at the Greene Turtle on October 20 from 6:30pm-9:00pm. Check-in begins at 6:00pm. The outline of the painting will be pre-drawn and Detrich will guide participants through the painting. Tickets are $40 through Evenbrite and include two canvases for you and a guest. Pumpkin Canvas and Thankful Banker

Artsy Partsy is hosting a painting event on October 25 from 6:00pm-7:30pm. Create your own fall decor and channel your creative side. Participants are invited to bring a peanut-free snack to enjoy. The event is for anyone over the age of 6, and it costs $20 a person. Tickets can be purchased from the event page on Facebook.

Zumba Halloween Dance Party

On October 25 from 6:30pm-8:00pm, The Y in Pasadena is hosting a Zumba Halloween dance party. All of your favorite instructors will be there, and costumes are encouraged. This event is open to non-members of the Y for a guest fee of $10.

Trick-or-Treat Trail

Kids 12 and under can trick-or-treat their way through Downs Park on October 26 from noon to 4:00pm. Face painting will be provided by the Chesapeake High School JV cheerleaders. There will be games, candy, prizes and a costume contest. Trophies will be awarded for funniest costume, scariest costume and best costume. Preregistration was required by October 12. Cash-only gate fees will apply and will be donated to the Friends of Downs Park for park enrichment.

Halloween Party

The Riviera Beach community is hosting its annual kids Halloween party on October 26 at 2:00pm in the community park off Meadow Road. Bring your children in their costume for snacks and goodies. At 4:00pm, the second annual trunk-or-treat will begin, followed by a movie in the park. Join the Riviera Beach community for a day packed with family-friendly Halloween fun!

LiviDoodles Halloween Costume Bash

Formed in honor of Olivia Sophia Anderson, a 14-year-old who passed away in 2017 due to complications from the heart condition Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome, LiviDoodles is hosting its inaugural fundraiser. The Halloween costume bash will be held October 26 from 7:00pm to 11:00pm at Cheshire Crab. The event will feature beer, wine, appetizers, music and a costume contest with cash prizes. Tickets can be purchased for $40 each by contacting Rick Rodgers (rikrod1@gmail.com) or Jen Zulka (jenniz15@verizon.net).

Trunk-or-Treat

Century 21 is hosting a free trunk-or-treat on October 27 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at The Real Estate Centre on Ritchie Highway in Pasadena. Candy and allergy-free alternatives will be provided at each trunk. The community can vote on their favorite trunk, participate in raffles, and check out local businesses. This event supports the Teal Pumpkin Project for food allergy research and education. People are being asked to park at the battery warehouse next to the Real Estate Centre.
