Inaugural Pickleball Tournament To Benefit Critically Ill Kids

Posted

Calling all Maryland pickleballers! The PutAway Severna Park is hosting the Casey Cares Paddle Up for a Purpose Pickleball Tournament on May 11 from 5:00pm-9:30pm. Women's and men's teams will rally on the court to play pickleball in support of the Casey Cares Foundation.

Players can share their level of play (beginner, intermediate or advanced) at registration to be best matched in the tournament. Playoff and championship matches will be subject to change, time permitting. All proceeds will benefit the Casey Cares Foundation and its programs that provide fun activities to critically ill children and their families. Last year, the nonprofit provided 33,938 activities to 56,512 participants, which calculates to one activity every 16 minutes.
