Panthers Lacrosse Honors Christopher Schultz Award Winners

Posted

The Panthers youth lacrosse program ended its season with the presentation of the Christopher Schultz Lacrosse Life Awards and scholarships at an ice cream party at Loopers Field on May 30.

Paul and Kathy Schultz established the award in honor of their late son, Christopher, who passed away at age 12. Christopher Schultz displayed leadership and loved life and lacrosse, and the award recognizes one individual from each Panthers youth lacrosse team who most embodies those characteristics. Recipients of the award received personalized plaques, and the junior-level winners also receive scholarship money.

The girls 2019 recipients of the Christopher Schultz Lacrosse Life Award are Calista Athas, Kaitlain Behler, Anna Kunes, Remi Morgan, Kelcie Gannon and Abbey Warner. Gannon and Warner were the junior-level recipients. The boys 2019 winners are Jude Abey, Maverik Croyts, Wyatt Thompson, Ryan Kopp, Jack Laib and Nick Shade; Shade was the junior scholarship winner.
