Park Books To Host “Paws In The Park” Fundraiser

Severna Park’s newest bookstore, Park Books, will host Paws in the Park on June 26 to raise money for the Saving Grace Animal Rescue of Maryland. The event will take place from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Park Books, located at 555 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard. Park Books wants to bring about community awareness, the importance of pet rescue, and what it can bring to pets and their forever homes.

The event will feature Marla Stahl, a local author and rescue pet advocate, who will host the Saturday Read Aloud. Stahl will do two separate readings, one at 11:00am and one at 1:00pm. Stahl’s books, including signed copies, will also be available for purchase at the store. Kids will also have the opportunity to meet some furry friends that will be in attendance.

Ten percent of the store’s proceeds will go toward animal rescue programs. Personal donations will also be accepted.
