Don’t miss the early-bird ticket deadline for our annual scholarship fundraiser. All of the proceeds will be used for local high school seniors’ scholarships to college.

Join us for dinner, drinks, dancing, great silent auction items, and more at PBA's annual scholarship fundraiser dinner. This fun, themed event is always a good time. We have given out over $215,000 in scholarships to students in Pasadena and we'd like to give out more this year. Hope to see you there!

We are having a good ole-fashioned country hoedown on March 7 at Kurtz’s Beach from 7:00pm–11:00pm. DJ Marcus will spin the records for dancing. We will have a country buffet and oyster bar with draft beer, wine, and soda included. A silent auction will have some great deals.

Tickets are $40 each if purchased by February 28 and $50 each if purchased after February 28. For tickets, to donate a silent auction item or to volunteer, contact event co-chairs Jerry Nicklow (Huff Insurance; jerry@huffinsurance.com) or Heather Fees (Keller Williams Realty; hfreesrealtor@gmail.com).

Tickets can also be found at BB&T (3030 Mountain Road), Huff Insurance (8349 Ritchie Highway) or Arundel Federal (4179 Mountain Road). Buyers must pay by check or cash at those locations. You can also buy and pay by credit card on the website, www.pbafundraiser.com, or mail a check to the PBA office, PO Box 861, Pasadena, MD 21123-0861.

PBA would like to welcome these new members: Turning Stone Counseling, Nature’s Caretakers LLC, The Complete Player Charity, Kona Ice of NE Anne Arundel County, and Howard Bank.

PBA will host a Shop Local Festival on June 13 from 10:00am–2:00pm. We will have games and activities, vendor demos, special offers, music and more. Mark your calendars, bring the family for a fun afternoon and learn about local businesses that support the community. Remember, local businesses sponsor our sports teams and help our churches and schools.

Now is a great time to join the PBA. Our Membership Directory and Community Guide deadline is March 31. We print and distribute 4,000 copies. We also have advertising opportunities for a great price.
