The Pasadena Stars 2011 girls soccer team had a successful fall season in Anne Arundel Youth Soccer Association play as the team went 8-1-2 to finish atop the league.

Stars players Alayna Bartram, Bella Myers, Casi Nichols, Chloe Rancourt, Erin Trakas, Kayla Jacques, Kira Shehane, Madeline Holquist, Rachel Durrant, Reese Cookus, Reese Robidoux and Sophia Harrison were coached by Jason Shehane, Brett Harrison and Steve Robidoux.

The team was led on offense by Shehane, Harrison, Holquist, Cookus and Jacques, who combined for a 30-7 scoring advantage over the opposition. Myers, Rancourt, Trakas, Durrant and Robidoux anchored the defense, and goalkeepers Bartram and Nichols combined for five shutouts.

After starting 1-1-2 through four games, the team finished the season on a tear, winning its final seven matches.

“The coaches were very proud of how hard the girls practiced every week while learning to trust one another by staying in their respective positions throughout the game,” said coach Harrison. “All in all, it was a great season, and the coaches couldn’t be more proud of the work the girls put in and the progress they made throughout the season.”
