PSC Fusion ’11 Boys Bring Home Two Tourney Titles

The Pasadena Soccer Club 2011 Fusion boys soccer team punctuated a challenging fall regular season with a pair of tournament championships.

On November 10, the Fusion capped a 3-0-1 performance at the Columbia Fall Classic with a 1-1 penalty-kick victory over the DC Stoddard Metros in the tournament’s championship game. Down 1-0 in the final, Jackson Odom scored a game-tying goal for the Fusion, who went on to win on penalty kicks.

On November 24, the Fusion held down home turf with a championship in the Mountain Road Tournament, in which the team went 3-1-0.

The Fusion players are Jackson Odom, Calum Alexander, Cohen Alexander, Brendan Cook, Liam Finnegan, Marcos Gargano, Josue Guzman, Nohelan Kamani, Brayden Parker, Tyler Pellegrini, Ian Smith and Luke Steen.

The team is coached by George Parker, Patrick Smith and Jason Pellegrini.

“[We] are proud of the boys for hanging in there this season and winning two tournaments at the end of the season,” said coach Parker.
