Question Of The Month: High Point Elementary School

Posted

Each month, the Pasadena Voice poses a question to a local fifth-grade class. This month, students from Ms. Ferrell’s class at High Point Elementary answered the question:

If you could be one character from a movie, which would you choose?

I would be Miguel from “Coco.” Miguel is a boy who likes music and so do I. His family never let him listen to music. Sometimes my family doesn’t let me listen to music because my parents don’t want to be annoyed!
Anthony Amaya

I would choose Miles from “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.” Miles likes music and so do I. He even likes drawing. I love to draw people.
Christian Carter

I would be SpongeBob SquarePants. He is the best! He is so funny, and he gets to live under the water. I love to swim in the water all the time.
Aaron Corcoran

I would love to be The Flash. I would love to have that speed so I could do good for the world and save lives. I can save people in fires or even in car accidents. With me being fast, hopefully they would survive their terrible ordeal.
Milton Cruz

Bella from “Twilight” because I love vampires. Their love stories are so different from other traditional love stories. Bella doesn’t know who to choose. She is very understandable and has many friends.
Tyjhe Dixon

I would pick Ariel from “The Little Mermaid.” I love mermaids and I love swimming. I’ve always wanted to be a mermaid so I could see shipwrecks like the Titanic. I would be able to talk to fish and would get to find my true love on a ship.
Sophia Fiorino

The Flash because I am already very athletic, but it would be cool to be really fast. I would run around the world like Forrest Gump, only faster. I’d run to Vegas because my grandmother grew up in Nevada.
Josh Howard

If I could be any character, it would be Wonder Woman. She gets a magic whip, and I want to know how it feels to have powers. I’d love to be strong so that I could save the world!
Ava Jones

I would love to be Spiderman because he helps people in danger. I have seen many of the Spiderman movies and think it would be a blast to use my web to fly around the town looking for bad guys.
Matthew Ludwig

The Flash because when I play soccer, I could go faster to get the ball. I play soccer now and have been playing since I was 3 years old!
Wilfredo Madrid-Munoz

I would love to be Milly from “Dumbo” because she is always very positive. Milly even stayed positive when others were making fun of Dumbo’s ears!
Presley McGinty

I’d love to be Mr. Krabs in SpongeBob. He always has a lot of money and he owns his own restaurant. I have no idea what I would use the money for, but I would love to have it.
James McKeldin

I would love to be Ariel so that I could swim around all day. I love to go to the beach!
Brooke Medlar

I would be Gus from “The Benchwarmers.” Gus is good at baseball. He even helped Clark and Richie play baseball. I love baseball and I play for Athletic Performance Inc. I am a catcher, but Gus was the pitcher.
Cooper Meeks

I would be Tiana from “The Princess and the Frog.” I like to cook and she loves to cook, and she opened her own restaurant. If I could open a restaurant, I would open a buffet with a lot of seafood. Buffets are fun and I love crabs.
Emilee Meyers

I’d love to be Wonder Woman because she tries her hardest and she cares about everybody. She has powers and I would love to know what that feels like.
Alexia Moccia

I’d love to be Captain Marvel because she is brave and fearless. She shows a lot of courage. She refuses to give up, just like I refused to give up reaching my goals!
Bridgett Paz

Miguel from “Coco” because he goes on a big adventure and he gets to see the dead and all his family who died.
Mia Pelkey

I want to be the Koala from “Sing.” He has courage and never gives up. In the movie, the whole theater was destroyed, but he kept going and got a new one. I am just like him because I never give up and keep working until I achieve my goal!
Dayrin Perez-Lemus

I would love to be Wonder Woman because she is strong, and I love watching her movies. If I had that strength, I would help people because I love helping anyone in any way.
Natalee Perry

I’d love to be Belle from “Beauty and the Beast.” I love to read, and we are both smart. My favorite book is “Wonder.” I wonder what Belle’s favorite book is.
Nataleigh Plowman

I would want to be Superman so I could fly around the entire world!
Jayden Rhodes

Gidget from “The Secret Life of Pets.” She won’t give up and will do anything to find and save Max. She can squeeze through tiny spaces!
Makayla Ramsey

I’d be Benji because he is very adventurous. As a dog, he explores a lot and helps others. I’d love to be a scientist when I get older, and you must be adventurous and explore in order to be a good scientist.
Savannah Santacroce

I want to be Flash because I want to be very fast and do fast stuff.
Aaron Shuaib

I would be Anger from “Inside Out.” I really don’t have a lot of patience and I get mad easily, even though I try not to.
Michael Stein

I would love to be Patrick Star from SpongeBob. He is so funny, and he gets to live under a rock.
Dustin Steinheim

Goose from “Captain Marvel” because it’s an alien cat and the cat is funny. I’d love to be an alien cat so I can eat stuff that normal cats can’t, like a table.
Brady Sumpter

I would be Annie. She is adopted just like I am, and I think that is very special.
Carleigh Wengert

If I could be any character in a movie, it would be Belle from Beauty and the Beast. She absolutely adores her dad and is a hopeless romantic. She loves adventure and would risk her life for her dad. She also falls in love at the most unexpected time with the most unexpected beast. She sees his heart in his eyes. They save each other without even knowing.
