As the year winds down, holidays and celebrations abound. Several local businesses and organizations are providing opportunities to end the holiday season right on New Year's Eve. Whether it's a family night out, or night out with friends, there are plenty of places from which to choose to ring in the new year close to home.

 

Severna Park Lanes

Twain’s Tavern

Twain's Tavern in Pasadena will welcome the new year with live music from KleptoRadio, a band that plays a variety of hits from the ‘90s to today. The restaurant will be open from 3:00pm until 2:00am, and the band will play from 10:00pm to close. Some $10 bottles of champagne will be available, and there will be special New Year's Eve food specials, which will be posted online closer to the date. Toby’s Dinner Theatre

For those interested in the arts, Toby's Dinner Theatre in Columbia offers special tickets for New Year's Eve. In addition to the usual dinner and show, the $110 ticket also includes a midnight champagne toast, two buffets and a cabaret after the show. Ram's Head

New Year's Annapolis

There is something for everyone at New Year's Annapolis, and all of the activities are free. Festivities begin at 3:00pm and conclude with midnight fireworks. From 3:00pm to 5:15pm, families with children can enjoy special events at Weems Whelan Fields behind Maryland Hall. Entertainment includes performances by kids' rock bands, face painting, moon bounces and more. A fireworks display is set for 5:30pm at Weems Whelan Field.

New Year's Eve Deck Party Onboard The USS Constellation

Onboard the USS Constellation in Baltimore's Inner Harbor, guests have a unique vantage from which to watch the midnight fireworks over the harbor. The all-inclusive ticket includes appetizers and desserts, along with local ale, wine, mulled cider and coffee.
