Ellie’s Bus To Fundraise With The Baysox

The area nonprofit Ellie’s Bus is partnering with the Bowie Baysox for a night of baseball and support for youth on May 25. When people order Bowie Baysox tickets through this link, one-third of the ticket price will be donated to Ellie's Bus.

The mission of Ellie’s Bus is to spread awareness of mental health issues and suicide prevention to teenagers across Maryland and across the United States. Sherry and Larry Leikin started Ellie’s Bus in honor of their daughter, Ellie, a Severna Park High School student and National Honor Society member who died from suicide in 2015.

The game on May 25 starts at 6:35pm, and the gates will open at 5:30pm. The Baysox will play the Richmond Flying Squirrels, a Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants.
